Fucking Capitalist

I’m the one socialists love to hate. I am a true Fucking Capitalist! And I’m proud of it! Really, I am!

Capitalism is basically about two things: total respect of ownership and maximizing rate of return.

Total respect of ownership means nothing less than that, if you don’t own it you can never regard it as your property. That applies for everything: human resources, environment, goods, services, immaterial values like thoughts and ideas as for material values like money, inventions,  gold etc. Everything has a value and in true Capitalistic spirit there is no stealing!

Total respect of ownership is the key to peace. The day everyone understand this there will be unison peace in the world. Regretfully some people have as their main ideology to disrespect ownership and thereby the key to peace.

Maximizing rate of return sounds so cold. Why does everything have to do with money? It doesn’t! What you define as wealth is totally up to you. How you decide to spend your wealth is up to you. Socialism is created when someone else is looking at the way you spend your defined wealth; time, money, relations, body, health etc, and regards it as a waste and wants to distribute your wealth in a more “efficient” way. Often in the faulty name of the “common good”.

Maximizing rate of return is about making the best for you. There is nothing wrong in wanting what is best for you, your family and those closest to you. It is natural to provide for your self and those closest to you! Sometimes, often in business life, it is about money, sometimes it is about something else. Anything that makes you happy and increase your living standards by your definitions is a subject to maximizing rate of return!

Capitalism is long term thinking. Capitalism is set to preserve an indefinite positive income to any investment. Investments can be broken down to smaller projects and the main idea is to either continue the project or to replace it with a new one to maintain a positive income. This is an endless cycle and indefinite one. Indefinite thinking is hardly short term!

Capitalism is green! Since Capitalism is based on long term thinking and on total respect of property and maximizing the Rate of Return, Capitalism is green! In the long term no one will benefit from pollution. The true Capitalist understands this and will only invest in projects that in the longest term yields the most profit and that is in projects that are long term sustainable in a local and global green perspective. Investing in green energy is vital and necessary to preserve global resources for future benefits.

Capitalists can pay tax! A state school system, hospitals, fire brigade, police, legal system, social security and so on are functions that enhance the societies total wealth, especially in the long term! We just don’t like to pay unnecessary tax, who does? Taxes aren’t an endless stream of money to fund bureaucracy. Excessive tax collected is nothing but a downward shift in society’s total wealth and should be avoided! That we have a state school does however not mean that we shouldn’t have a free market for private schools in addition. They aren’t mutual exclusive!

Society’s only role in a capitalistic world is to protect it. That is why we have f. ex. a police and a justice system, to take away those who leech and don’t respect other people’s property and freedom. Further on the society should make it as easy to be an actor in a capitalistic world and set the rules as simple as possible. Capitalists don’t oppose f. ex. the protection of weaker actors in a market. I truly advocate consumer laws as long as they are meaningful and protect the individual from harmful exploitation. Today’s consumer laws in the EU-region and the Nordic countries do just that and I don’t believe that more protection is necessary for the consumer.

Another role it so protect the individual, especially from society itself. Freedom of speech, freedom of movement, freedom of religion, freedom of sexuality, freedom of race, freedom thoughts, free flow of information, right to life and so on is to be protected and guarded against any corruption. The individual must always come before the society. The same moment the opposite happens we have a threat to our basic freedom.

Laws that protect the individual, the environment and the vastness of freedom are essential parts of capitalism. Laissez-Faire does not mean anarchy and there must be total freedom for the individual in our society. That right is the right we all should fight for. We, not we the “fucking capitalists”! No. WE, every last one of us!
